Douglas Kenneth McTrowe passed away peacefully at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit in Lethbridge on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Doug was born on Sept. 2, 1947, to Mary (nee Nedilenka) and Ken McTrowe in Banff.
Doug is predeceased by his sisters Noreen, Eleanore (Rick Ellis), and Roseanne (Mike MacNeill). Doug is survived by his loving wife Evelyn (nee Beaupre); his daughters Mary-Anne (Dave Hoffos) and Eleanore; his son Ken (Michaela Baule); granddaughter MaryJane Bohnet; and great grandson Eli DeSpain, as well as many cousins, nephews, and nieces. Doug will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A memorial mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 2604 Third Ave. S., Fort Macleod. Fellowship to follow.
