Debra Fournier of Fort Macleod passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023. Debra was 65 years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Debra was born on Nov. 29, 1957, in Lethbridge to the late Bertha English. She married John Fournier in Fort Macleod on Nov. 30, 1985. She is survived by her son Anthony Fournier (Carmen).
Debra worked hard for most of her life. She completed high school in Fort Macleod in 1979. By the time Debra was 25 years of age, she had met the love of her life, the late John Fournier. The two had an incredible connection and created a lovely family with their son Anthony. Debra’s hobbies included fishing, writing, gardening, and boating. Debra was an avid accordion and organ musician and was passionate about Stewy, her little furry companion.
A wake service will be held on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at Eden’s Funeral Home, from 6-10 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation can be made to her son Anthony.
