Joel Lybbert and his buffalo Indie return to lead the 40th Fort Macleod Santa Claus Parade.
Lybbert and Indie will herald the pending arrival of the parade at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25.
They will be followed by Citizen of the Year Lisa Gillingham riding in an antique car driven by Don McLean.
Entries were still coming in as The Macleod Gazette went to press on Tuesday but the Santa Claus Parade is shaping up to be a grand spectacle.
Businesses, groups and individuals are encouraged to enter the parade, preferably in advance of the 11 a.m. kickoff.

Parade participants will begin lining up at 10:20 a.m. All parade entries must be in place and ready to roll by 10:45 a.m.
The parade begins at 11 a.m. and proceeds north along Second Avenue to Main Street. The parade then makes its way east along Main Street to Sixth Avenue, where it turns south to 22nd Street.
Parade participants are reminded not to throw candy to the crowd, for safety reasons.
