Frances May Massie of Claresholm returned home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at the age of 92 years.
Frances leaves behind to mourn her daughter Brenda Wesley; her grandchildren Kimberly (Lee), Kyle (Erin), and Ashleigh (Ryan); and her great- grandchildren Keegan, Emery, Davyn, Danielle and Jacqueline. Frances is also survived by her step-children Sharon, Bill (Cheryl), Carol (Howard), Gail (Danny), Dave (Gina), and their families.
Frances was predeceased by her parents Francis and Mildred Parker; her sisters Charlotte, Norma-Jean, and Carol; her brother Bill; as well as her son Monty and his wife Brenda. Frances was blessed to have found love twice in her life; she is also predeceased by her first husband Charley Wesley and her second husband Bill Massie.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, at the Claresholm Baptist Church, 4404 Third St. W.
A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, Fort Macleod, following the service. All are welcome to attend.
Following the graveside, a come and go luncheon will be held at Stockman’s Grill, 813 – 14th St., Fort Macleod.
