It was with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jake De Peuter, on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at the age of 84 years. Jake was the beloved husband of Jane De Peuter, father of Linda and Jennifer, best friend to Dudley, loved by all.
Jake was a man who loved life. His generosity of spirit showed consistently through his laughter, kindness and joyful demeanor. He deeply loved the people and the pets in his life. This love showed through his actions as he was frequently seen helping others and was always the first to offer a helping hand. His laughter and warm hugs will always be fondly remembered.
Jake enjoyed life to the fullest, whether travelling, walking his dog or laughing with his friends and family. His gentle approach with his girls, his grandchildren, and his beloved dog was noticed by all. He will be warmly remembered and treasured by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at Eden’s Funeral Home, 2424 Fifth Ave., Fort Macleod, on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at 12 p.m.
Following the celebration of life, family and friends are welcome to stay for the luncheon.
