Trains will run during the Southern Alberta Model Railway Club open house March 22-23.
The Southern Alberta Model Railway Club will hold its annual spring open house Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23 at the Gyro Park clubhouse in Lethbridge.
The open house, which runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, will feature the Alberta Southern Railway.
The Southern Alberta Model Railway Club is a non-profit organization for model railway enthusiasts.
Members come from diverse backgrounds, professions, and include a wide range of ages.
The club has promoted the hobby of model railroading for more than 40 years and are the operators of the HO Scale Alberta Southern Railway, as well as an ‘N Scale portable modular layout connected to a permanent layout.
The open house is a family-friendly event open to everyone, and trains will be operating on both days.
The event is free but donations would be accepted.
The clubhouse is at Gyro Park, 1420-10A Ave. S. in Lethbridge.
