Due to a lack of physician coverage, the Fort Macleod Health Centre emergency department was temporarily closed Thursday. The emergency department closed at 8 a.m. Thursday and was not expected to re-opened until 8 a.m. Friday. However, physician coverage was secured, ending the closure  at 2 p.m. Thursday.
