The Outlaws rallied from a six-run deficit Saturday to rustle up the championship of the Fort Macleod Coed Slowpitch League postseason tournament.
The Outlaws went undefeated in the two-day tournament at Fort Macleod Volunteer Park.
Their opponents in the final, the Bench Warmers, reached the final the hard way, combing back from the B side of the double elimination format event.
The Bench Warmers had to win a semifinal match immediately prior to the championship game.
After a short break the Bench Warmers batted first in the final and perhaps carrying the momentum of a tight victory moments before, jumped out to a 6-0 lead.
The Outlaws showed their championship form however, slowly fighting back into it to take the lead.
The Bench Warmers made it close, scoring three runs to close the gap heading into the final inning.
The Outlaws held off the late rally to win the title with a 17-15 victory.
