It is with heavy hearts and much love that we announce the passing of our mom Cindy (Spirit Helper) English, long-time resident of Fort Macleod, at the age of 66 years. Cindy passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Fort Macleod Health Centre, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Mom is survived and sadly missed by her children Scott Tewes, Jennifer Tewes (Wendell Mercredi), and Walker English (Teina Taitapanui); her siblings: Elsie Gerk, Annie Gerk, Mike (Pat) Halerewich, Joe (Agnes) Halerewich, Helen Shoemaker (Mel Massini), Johnny Halerewich, and Shirley Spence; as well as her mother-in-law Louise English; brothers and sisters-in-law: Patricia, Wendy, Homer, Loretta, Virginia, Frank, Ruby, Terry, Delores, Brian, and Marvin; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Mom is now reunited with her late husband George Steve English; her parents John and Emily Halerewich; siblings: Nestor Halerewich, Oresia Halerewich, Rosie Lega, and Corinne McKenzie; and many other special family members and friends.
A private celebration of Mom’s life will take place.
